When Henri Matisse was largely confined to his bed or wheelchair and could no longer paint as he once did, he picked up a pair of scissors, cut out shapes from painted paper, and started to created his now-famous cut-outs. This class is inspired by Matisse’s dazzling and vibrant late works, and we will create collages using different mediums.
