My love of mid-century modern design inspired this ArtBox and the intention is to provide a starting point for your family to create your own very special ornaments for your tree.
What’s included:
- 4 beautiful retro-shaped bases – hand-cut by the fabulous LazyDaisyLaser
- 4 silky tassels handmade in Cape Town for LalaArtBar
- 4 jingle bells
- 4 Christmassy paint colours (paint made in SA)
- 1 thick brush
- 1 thin brush to add detail
- 24 wooden beads of various sizes and shapes to paint, thread, and adorn your ornaments
- 2m of red and white twine

Can’t paint/won’t paint? Each ornament base is cut with a simple motif to inspire pattern and exploration.
Add to your ornaments using buttons, wool, empty cotton reels, paper straws, ribbon, a special shell found on the beach, fabric scraps, bottle tops, a pompom, macaroni, stickers, a beautiful seed pod, or scraps of left-over wrapping paper. Why not cut shapes out of the box and paint them too? 🙂
