Hand screenprinting bridges craftsmanship and accessibility, allowing artists to produce bold, tactile images that retain the feeling of being handmade while enabling greater audience reach. Its physical process encourages intentional design, strong composition, and experimentation with colour. In this informal afternoon workshop, you will learn more about this time-honoured technique and draw inspiration from Matisse’s paper cutouts to design and screen print your own tote bag.
